iSlideshow is a macOS app for turning a folder of images into a clean, full-screen slideshow. Choose your photos, set the pace, and let your Mac handle the presentation.
Help
- Import files by dragging and dropping files from Finder, Photos, or your desktop to iSlideshow, or press ⌘ O to open the file picker.
- Press Enter to start a slideshow.
- Use arrow keys ← → to flip between files.
- Press Esc to close the slideshow.
- Press the trash can button to clear imported files, or press ⌘ A and then ⌫.
FAQ
Should I download off GitHub or the App Store?
The app is a paid purchase on the App Store. For that purchase, you get peace of mind and ease of use, especially when it comes to updates. If you download the app off GitHub, you’ll have to manually download and install updates.
Can I use iSlideshow offline?
Yes. The app is fully offline and local. Nothing leaves your device.
What image formats are supported?
iSlideshow supports common image and video formats available through macOS, including JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, MOV, MP4, M4V, MPG, MPEG.
Support
If you are having trouble, try these steps:
- Quit iSlideshow and reopen it.
- Make sure you are using the latest version of iSlideshow.
- Confirm the selected folder contains supported image files.
- Restart your Mac.
- Delete iSlideshow and reinstall it.
